Wear your scars proudly. You earned them, and they tell your story.
Normally when leather is cut for a project, we would try and avoid the really obvious scars, but when it came to this piece I thought it was best to place it front and centre. The pattern on this is completely unique, a story like no other.
What will you choose to fill this notebook with?
I have included a Claire Fontaine notebook. I picked this brand of notebook for two reasons: it is a joy to write on and it is easy to find replacements. It is suitable for fountain pens so your ink won't run or fade and you will enjoy writing down your ideas for years to come.
This piece has been stitched together by hand using waxed Irish linen using the traditional saddle stitching technique.
